Just Your Ordinary High School Game

Came across this video today after hearing of the story in which Montrose Christian Academy played and beat legendary Oak Hill Academy in Washington DC. This was Oak Hill’s only loss of the season and were coming into the game riding a 56 game winning streak. Montrose trailing by 16 points midway through the 3rd quarter came back to win the game on a buzzer beating shot. Considered one of the top basketball moments in DC history.
NBA relevance – Playing in the game was Kevin Durant, Michael Beasely, Ty Lawson, Greivis Vasquez and a hand full of other Divison I players.
