Why else would Memphis rescind their qualifying offer unless Wallace had been approached about something. Here's the other thing. The Grizzlies could make this deal at the trade deadline and not have to take on any additional salary until February.I should have mentioned that earlier. In fact, they would be stupid to make the deal now. Since luxury tax bills are based on a team's salary at the end of the season the Jazz can wait to move him until the deadline. The problem then is that they'd want something to replace him before the playoffs. Haslem could be that guy. Miaim would then have Boozer's Bird Rights.
