Not sure what happened in that last paragraph. Should have said "...if MW can make a move. Otherwise..."

Also...loved the "Swingers" reference.

Getting Powe on the cheap was a good addition and will certainly bolster their bench.

I'll get excited though when they add that mobile four that they desperately need on the defensive end.

I suppose there is a miniscule chance that he could be brought back to Denver, but I'd be shocked.

C.J. Watson is a good young player. Otis Smith is wise to be pursuing him down in Orlando (as insurance for Jameer).

You're right, guard depth is a real issue in Denver right now.
We'll see if MT can make a move. TOtherwise, Denver will likely fall back to the pack this season.

I'm not so sure about A.I. not returning to Denver. By now he realizes that no team out there will let him come in and start. Even the bad teams would be reluctant to add him for fear of him stunting the growth of their younger players.

He only makes sense as depth for a team in contention. He makes no sense in Los Angeles, Orlando, or San Antonio. That leaves Boston, Cleveland, and Denver.

I doubt he goes to Boston. Cleveland makes a little bit of sense since he'd be willing to take a one-year deal and he's a better back up to West and Mo than Gibson is.

I would never say the odds are astronomical because he didn't burn any bridges on his way out of town. He was always on his best behavior and he was happy there.

You could make the case that the Nuggets have the worst bench of all 16 playoff teams from last year—except maybe Detroit.

Who else is out there? Tyronn Lue? Ronald Murray? CJ Watson? Kareem Rush? Rashad McCants? Juan Dixon?

There's an arms race going and right now the Nuggets are on the outside looking in.

If you said unlikely I would agree with you. But I'd say there are much better odds of A.I. signing with a team he left on good terms that could use his services than of me getting a text by the end of the day from a woman I've never met.

Nice call on Leon Powe.

Iverson has as much of a chance of returning to the Nuggets as you have of receiving a few bikini-clad photos from Ali Kay by the end of the day. Sure it's possible, but the odds are astronomical.

I guess all the Mark Warkentien lovers can go back into hiding for a while. Birdman needed to be brought back, but the price was too high. The Lawson deal was a good one. Otherwise, it has been a dismal off-season in Denver.
