Houston Rockets: Twitter Reacts To Greg Smith Dunking On Tiago Splitter

I know exactly what you’re thinking.

Who the heck is Greg Smith?

Before Sunday night, I wouldn’t have been able to pick Smith out of a group of people, that’s for sure.

Through 57 games this season (yes, he’s played that much), Greg is averaging 5.4 points and 4.1 rebounds. He’s a nice, young prospect for the Houston Rockets, but he hasn’t exactly played enough to warrant a reputation around the league, or even a second thought to the casual basketball fan.

Well, after throwing down a massive dunk on San Antonio Spurs big man Tiago Splitter during the fourth quarter of Houston’s 96-95 victory on Sunday, that may be changing.

He finished the night with six points on 2 for 3 shooting, but these two points were the ones that really mattered most.

A good dunk is a good dunk, regardless of whether you’re a big name in the NBA or not.
