The Sacramento Kings are looking to move up in Thursday night’s draft.

According to Adrian Wojanrowski of Yahoo Sports, “Sacramento has been aggressive in trying to move up from seventh in the draft.”

Wojanrowski goes on to say Kansas guard Ben McLemore is the “likely target.”

This is, of course, assuming McLemore is still available at five. The Orlando Magic have been connected with McLemore throughout the process, but apparently weren’t enamored with his workout and are “locked in” on Indiana guard Victor Oladipo.

As a redshirt freshman at Kansas last season, McLemore averaged 15.9 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game. He shot 49.5% from the field, 42.0% from beyond the arc and 87.0% from the charity stripe.

The most likely trade partner appears to be the Phoenix Suns, according to Ken Berger of CBS Sports. The Suns hold the fifth overall pick in the draft. The Suns are said to covet Oladipo, but probably don’t believe he’ll be there.
