Sometimes LeBron James doesn’t seem to be human. However, late last night he had a very human moment.
During the past two NBA seasons, he’s probably had maybe a few weeks off. After winning the 2012 NBA Championship, he went on to lead Team USA to a Gold Medal in the Summer Olympics. Shortly after, training camp was up and running for the 2013 NBA season. This offseason, he finally was able to take time off, “away from the game”, if you will — after winning a second straight NBA Championship.
He tweeted this late Sunday night:
It’s unclear on what the motives were behind these words, but there has been no indication that these tweets have any other meaning than the King just “venting”. No reports of wrongdoing or any public incidents have been released that would prompt these kind of remarks.
James is slated to continue his “time off” by getting married to longtime girlfriend Savannah Brinson in mid-September. After that, it’s back to work as James and the Miami Heat are set to open training camp in early October.
