You know it’s been a slow NBA news day when Fab Melo is making headlines.

According to ESPNBoston.com, the Boston Celtics have traded former first-round pick Fab Melo and cash to the Memphis Grizzlies on Thursday for the nonguaranteed contract of Donte Greene.

With the Maine Red Claws, Melo averaged 9.8 points, 6.0 rebounds and a league-high 3.1 blocks in 26.2 minutes per game. He was named to the D-League All-Defensive first team and D-League All-Rookie first team. He showed little promise during the Orland Summer League, and apparently, the Celtics just ran out of patience for the former Syracuse star.

On the other hand, Greene hasn’t played in the League since the 2011-12 season, he signed with the Grizzlies last season on April 17, but failed to appear in any games for Memphis.

In light of the trade, ESPN personality Bill Simmons tweeted a video of Melo’s best moments as a member of the Boston Celtics. Let’s take a look back…

Yep, that’s a bit harsh.

With that said, is this Greene’s best moment with the Kings?
