NBA News: Odom NOT Missing + T-Mac Retires

Despite reports over the weekend (TMZ) of Lamar Odom’s unknown whereabouts, according to the NBA Veteran’s agent Jeff Schwartz Odom is in fact not missing, he told ESPN.com.

“Lamar is not missing. His wife knows exactly where he is. Playing in the NBA is still very much a part of Lamar’s plans.”

TMZ reported Sunday that Odom had been missing for 72 hours after a dispute with his wife Khloe Kardashian. TMZ also reported that people close to Odom feared that he was involved with drugs.

This appears to just be the beginning in this story. Stay tuned.

Leaving open the door to play overseas, seven-time All-Star Tracy McGrady “officially” retired from the NBA on Monday, making the official announcement on ESPN First Take.

“It’s been 16 years playing the game I love. I’ve had a great run, but it’s time for it to come to an end,” McGrady said on ESPN’s “First Take.”

Asked to clarify whether he is considering playing in China, McGrady said: “Officially retired from the NBA. Door’s still open.”

McGrady averaged 19.6 points, 5.6 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game in a career that started in 1997, when he was drafted out of high school. McGrady most recently played with the San Antonio Spurs, but failed to take any meaningful role during their 2013 NBA Finals run.
