KD: Derrick Rose Made Right Decision To Wait

Because Kevin Durant’s comments have been on a roll lately, he gave his two cents on Derrick Rose.

The Chicago Bulls all-star point guard sat out the entire 2012-13 season, a decision which was publicly criticized by many. He was medically cleared in March, but never officially returned from the injury. Technically, he still hasn’t.

Durant spent some time this summer working out with the former MVP and believes that he did make the right decision after all, in taking the entire year off.

“He’s been looking great,” Durant told Comcast SportsNet’s Sports Talk LiveIt was really good for him to take the whole year off.”

“A lot of people criticized him for it and were really upset about him not playing, but it was the best thing for him,” Durant explained. “I can tell, because he looks better.”

Durant sure has been making his rounds in the media. Since the new rule now is that everything he says is a shot at Dwyane Wade, we’re going to chalk this one up in that department as well. Just kidding.

But for reals, I hope Durant is right and that Rose did make the right decision. I hope Rose comes back better and I hope that his team is better.

After all, the Eastern Conference is stacked this season. Also, can the season just start already?
