WELL, I’LL BE…
And 526 days later, Derrick Rose returned from his torn ACL.
The injury that kept the Chicago Bulls star sidelined since April 2012, is now in Rose’s review mirror, as he finally stepped back onto a hardwood for reals. Rose scored 13 points in 20 minutes against the Indiana Pacer on Saturday night.
The fact that he’s finally back was the first good thing of the night. The fact that he actually looked good (usually takes most players time to adjust after returning from ACL injuries) was the cherry on top of a preseason vanilla sundae.

Then, the quickness and explosiveness:
But perhaps the biggest indication that Rose is indeed back? His reaction to Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau taking him out in the third quarter.
Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau said Derrick Rose was pissed about coming out in the 3rd quarter. "That's how I knew he was back." (Tribune)

OH YEA, DANNY GRANGER RETURNED TOO
That guy, Danny Granger, returned also. While Derrick Rose will grab most of the headlines after the Bulls vs Pacers preseason game, Granger also saw his first action since his injury last season. He deserves a subhead?
Anyways, the Pacers small forward — who will probably be the sixth man in Indiana now — had a so-so return. Granger scored six points on 2 of 10 shooting. Though, here is one of his two baskets of the night.
Oh, and just for the fun of it…there was also this in the category of “debuts”…

Then again, maybe he wasn’t…
I see a lot of you tweeting about Dwight Howard being ejected from tonight's game. According to @Jonathan_Feigen, he wasn't ejected.
