Dwight Howard. James Harden. Kevin Durant.
Jalen Rose says it’s possible and will happen when Durant’s contract ends in a couple of years. Rose along with Bill Simmons have been doing their NBA Previews, and while previewing the Houston Rockets this is what ensued.
Rose follows up by saying that Russell Westbrook will spurn OKC, as well, and sign with the Los Angeles Lakers along with Kevin Love. Westbrook and Love were college teammates at UCLA.
Durant played his one-year of college ball at the University of Texas.
But there are a lot of different factors that come into play with this whole “idea” or “prediction”. On top of that, Durant and Westbrook aren’t free agents until at least 2016.
Even though he does point out some interesting thoughts, it’s difficult to say that Durant would just leave Westbrook out in the cold. We know KD holds his allegiances with Harden, he’s practically his number one fan. But a lot can happen between now and then.
Remember when everyone thought LeBron was destined for NYC? Yea, how’d that work out?
Let’s also remember that Jalen Rose is also the guy that is sticking to his prediction that Michael Jordan will play in one game this season. We’re about done here.
