The Houston Rockets have elected to waive veteran center Marcus Camby after he has failed to recover from torn plantar fascia tissue.

Though it appears he could stay on the team one way or another, if he chooses.

In other more encouraging news for the Rockets, it appears James Harden’s knee contusion isn’t bad at all. In fact, he was participating in some drills during Sunday’s practice.

All indications point to Harden being a go for the Rockets season opener. Expect him to be in the starting lineup.
