Every week, we will be discussing the game of the week – a game not worth missing. This week, being the first week of the season, there are many to choose from one, but one stands out as the one with the most intrigue.

Chicago Bulls at Miami Heat –October 29, 8 p.m. – Derrick Rose is back. The Heat begins its quest for a three-peat. Did I mention Derrick Rose is back? The Bulls went undefeated in the preseason, which may not be that impressive, but Rose looked more explosive than ever before. Last week, Rose said that the Bulls are definitely title contenders. I’m sure LeBron James and company will have plenty to say about that. Even without Rose and half the team, the Bulls gave the Heat all it could handle in the five-game series they played last year. Imagine what could happen with a full squad. This is sure to be a great game for all the story lines.

Notable games:

Denver Nuggets at Sacramento Kings – October 30, 10 p.m. – New ownership for the Kings means that Sleep Train Arena will be going nuts. Look for a lot of energy from this game.

Golden State Warriors at Los Angeles Clippers – October 31, 10:30 p.m. – Instead of trick-or-treating, treat yourself to two of the youngest teams in the league face off.
