NBA 'Lights: Featuring the undefeated Philadelphia 76ers (Video)

 

With the season opening week of the NBA season beginning to come to an end, we’re starting to see some teams began to assert their dominance — then we have the Philadelphia 76ers.

I mean, the undefeated Philadelphia 76ers (3-0). In honor of their hot start, I decided to dedicate today’s entire NBA ‘Lights post to them. Not because 3-0 is some kind of record or anything, but because none of us expected this.

First, let’s look back at when we knew the Sixers as the ultimate tankers. Here was Michael Carter-Williams’ first NBA basket:

We were naive. We didn’t know what to expect. And then Michael Carter-Williams turned into MCW and exploded on his way as the front-runner for Rookie of the Year:

But it’s not only MCW that’s jump onto the NBA scene and taken it by storm. Something has gotten into Evan Turner. I mean, WHAT HAS GOTTEN INTO EVAN TURNER? He done dunked on LeBron:

After that impressive, world-shattering win over the back-2-back NBA champs, the Sixers did it again. They improved to 2-0 after coming back to beat the Washington Wizards. Here are those ‘Lights:

But after that we could’ve sworn that it wasn’t going to happen again. Not against the Bulls. Not will Derrick Rose in the lineup. It did. And it was the Sixers most impressive win, coming back from down 20. First, Rose meet Tony Wroten:

But they needed a closer, someone to shut the door on the pesky Bulls. Spencer Hawes stepped into that role nicely. Here was your Hawes dagger from Saturday night that sent the Sixers to 3-0:
