For those wondering if Steve Nash was going to actually consider retirement without a fight, you were wrong. Reports from Los Angeles Lakers practice are that Nash has indeed returned.

Kobe Bryant and Steve Nash are both expected to return to practice on Tuesday. Bryant has been practicing off and on with the Los Angeles Lakers for two weeks, and the possibility of a return on Friday has not yet been ruled out. Nash is a different story all together.

“[Nash will] be at practice on Tuesday,” Lakers coach Mike D’Antoni confirmed on Sunday.

He indeed returned per Dave McMenamin, who was there for the post-practice media session.

If you’re asking how he looked? Well, Pau Gasol offered one opinion.

It’ll probably be a while until Nash actually returns full time, but progress is progress…right?

No surprise that Nash is not ready. Kobe has been rehabbing for 7 months. It’s just been a few weeks for Nash. He says he’s going to play. It’s just a matter of when.
