Every week, we will be discussing the game of the week – a game not worth missing.
It was an interesting week last week with Kobe Bryant returning and the preview of the Eastern Conference Finals with the Indiana Pacers and the Miami Heat. This week won’t be a letdown, either. Look to follow the San Antonio Spurs this week.
GAME OF THE WEEK
Indiana Pacers at Miami Heat – Wednesday, December 18, 7 p.m.
Round one of the regular season matchup went to the Pacers, but the second game is always the most interesting. The Heat came out strong against the Pacers last week, but the Pacers finished strong. What adjustments will be made? Will the game being in Miami make a difference?
San Antonio Spurs at Los Angeles Clippers – Tonight, 10:30 p.m.
This game will be a good one as two of the best point guards go at it with Tony Parker and Chris Paul.
San Antonio Spurs at Phoenix Suns – Wednesday, December 18, 9 p.m.
The Suns are a fun team to watch if you haven’t seen them play, yet. Many are overlooking their backcourt of Goran Dragic and Eric Bledsoe. Coach Jeff Hornacek is doing an outstanding job with this group.
San Antonio Spurs at Golden State Warriors – Thursday, December 19, 10:30 p.m.
San Antonio is creeping up a lot this week, but there is no way you can miss this game. These two teams gave us a great playoff series last year. Should be a good one.
Houston Rockets at Indiana Pacers – Friday, December 20, 8 p.m.
The Pacers and Rockets match up well against each other at all positions. Could this be a Finals preview?
Oklahoma City Thunder at San Antonio Spurs – Saturday, December 21, 8:30 p.m.
Which superstar will have the best game? Which role player will step up? It’s a possible Western Conference Finals preview.
