In his absence, the Portland Blazers have raced off to a surprising 22-5 start.
McCollum was taken with the No. 10 pick in the 2013 NBA Draft. He averaged 21 points, 4 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 34.6 minutes over five Summer League appearances with the Blazers.
