According to Gary Tanguay of Comcast Sports New England and Nets Daily, Brooklyn Nets center Brook Lopez has been diagnosed with a broken foot and will miss the remainder of the season. This is the fourth time in three seasons that Lopez has suffered from a broken foot.
NBA source tells me Brook Lopez of the Nets is done for the year. Broken foot. East continues to get worse. #celticstalk

NETSDAILY CAN CONFIRM THAT BROOK LOPEZ HAS A BROKEN FOOT WHICH LIKELY MEANS HE'S DONE FOR THE YEAR.

It is believed Lopez suffered the injury in the third quarter and continued to play through it. No wonder he didn't talk last night #Nets

The injury itself is unfortunate, but the timing is even more. Just when it looked like the Nets were starting to turn their season around, something like this happens. It’ll be tough for the Nets to keep their momentum going without one of their most reliable players this season.
Lopez had been averaging 20 points, six rebounds and just about two blocks per game so far this season. Do the Nets look for a disgruntled center out there in hopes of acquiring him via trade?
Mr. Morey, Nets are on line 1.
