The injuries just don’t stop coming for the Los Angeles Lakers.

Steve Nash, Steve Blake, Kobe Bryant and Jordan Farmar have all missed time this season due to injury and are all currently out. Xavier Henry is expected to join that list.

After leaving in the first quarter of Sunday’s loss to the Philadelphia 76ers, an MRI revealed a bone bruise to his right knee and an abnormality of the lateral meniscus which will keep him out at least 7-10 days.

Henry has surprisingly played well as a reserve for Mike D’Antoni and the Los Angeles Lakers this season. In about 22 minutes per game, Henry has been averaging 10.1 points per game. All indications point to Kendall Marshall getting his number called in Henry’s absence as the backup point guard.

Marshall was recently signed from the D-League after being cut by the Wizards.
