Every week, we will be discussing the game of the week – a game not worth missing.

Last week it was Chris Paul, this week it was Eric Bledsoe. The injuries continue to pile up, and teams are trying to stay afloat. It’s another soft schedule this week, but there are some games worth tuning into.

GAME OF THE WEEK

Oklahoma City Thunder at Houston Rockets – Thursday, January 16, 9:30 p.m.

Can the Thunder continue to stay on track without Russell Westbrook? The Rockets will look for another marquee win this year. Last time these two teams met James Harden was put on a poster by former teammate Kevin Durant. Should be an entertaining game in Houston.

Notable games:

Portland Trail Blazers at San Antonio Spurs – Friday, January 17, 8:30 p.m.

The Spurs have been hobbled recently, and you never know if Coach Gregg Popovich will sit the starters or play them. If he plays them, this should be a good game to watch as two of the top teams in the Western Conference go at it.

Los Angeles Clippers at Indiana Pacers – Saturday, January 18, 7 p.m.

There will be no Chris Paul, but Blake Griffin has been on a tear. How will he do against the league’s number one defense? Last time these two teams met, it went down to the wire. Will the Clippers get their revenge?
