After the Los Angeles Clippers dismantled the Golden State Warriors 111-98 on Wednesday night, Jermaine O’Neal (yes, he’s still in the League) reportedly confronted Blake Griffin after the game.
Golden State Warriors forward Jermaine O’Neal confronted forward Blake Griffin in the hallway outside the Los Angeles Clippers’ locker room at Staples Center after L.A.’s 111-98 win Wednesday night.
The two had a heated conversation that was quickly broken up by a Clippers official who led Griffin to the adjacent news conference room.
O’Neal, 35, had dressed and was waiting outside the Clippers’ locker room to talk to Griffin.
Griffin, who was walking to the news conference room to take questions from reporters, could be heard telling O’Neal to “leave that s— on the court” before the two were separated and briefly shook hands.
In the middle of the fourth quarter, O’Neal was issued a technical foul as he walked towards the Clippers bench, while continuing to chat up Griffin. Teammates and officials were forced to direct O’Neal back to the Warriors bench.
Apparently, he was lost.
After the game, it appears that O’Neal was simply finishing off his thought to Griffin.
Also, there are no legs to the rumors that O’Neal was simply pleading to Griffin that he just can’t be that good.
The Warriors and Clippers are not scheduled to meet again this season, but could very well meet up for a seven game series in the playoffs. If so, CAN’T WAIT.
