Magic Johnson wants Los Angeles Lakers to bring back Phil Jackson

Apart from his mind-blowing advanced statistical breakdown, and his NBA hot takes, Magic Johnson has gone to twitter for a greater good — to lobby the Los Angeles Lakers to bring back Phil Jackson.

First, exhibit A:

Mind-blowing. Simply, mind-blowing.

Now, back to Phil.

While Jackson has pretty much agreed to a deal (we think) with the New York Knicks to become the new President of Basketball Operations, Johnson still believes (I guess) that there’s a chance that the Lakers could steal him back.

I think.

And he took to Twitter yesterday to voice his opinion. After all, that’s what Twitter is for, right?

Yea, we get it. Everyone wants Phil Jackson now that he’s reportedly ready to get back to work. But even then, Phil has never even been a front office person before, so I kind of don’t understand the whole fascination around him. But that’s neither here nor there.

The bottom line is that Johnson wants Phil and so do the rest of Laker Nation, I would assume — probably even Kobe. However, as Johnson eluded, it might be too late.

And then, after that, Johnson concluded his rant about bringing Phil back to LA with another of his hot sports takes:

Yea. Uhm, his takes may not be all the way there, but TWITTER!

Anyways, “BRING PHIL BACK TO LA, HE’S OURS” — Every Lakers fan everywhere.
