Shabazz Napier took the nation by storm during his and the UCONN Huskies NCAA Tournament run that ended with a National Championship during the past few weeks.
Even LeBron James took notice and commented about his NBA draft status.
No way u take another PG in the lottery before Napier.

The question, however, is if NBA scouts and GMs did?
So far, the answer is yes. But not as much as you’d think they would.
These executives aren’t sure how Napier’s game will translate to the next level. His size is a concern and teams aren’t sure if he can be an efficient contributor in the NBA. The fact that he’s turning 23 years old in July also hurts him, as teams are more likely to take a younger player with more upside rather than a four-year college player.
Napier averaged 18 points, six rebounds and five assists as a senior for the Huskies, but it’s clear (despite those numbers) that the numbers that will definitely decide his draft fate will be his measurements.
Because, in the NBA, size does matter.
