The San Antonio Spurs’ offense was flowing to a T, when they weren’t turning the ball over. And a huge early component of that was Manu Ginobili. He was everywhere — turning defense into offense, transition offense into 3’s and carving up the “elite” Miami Heat with assist after assist. Simply enough, it was very evident that this Manu Ginobili was not the Manu Ginobili of last year’s Finals.
