At this point, I believe people would be willing to trade the last few days of rumors for a one hour special — it’s been that taxing. Especially for Miami Heat fans (yes they exist) and, now, the Cleveland Cavaliers faithful.
After an apparent airplane from Cleveland landing in South Florida and LeBron’s agent reportedly telling the Cavaliers that they have a real shot to land their hometown hero, the Miami Heat remain confident that they’ll be able to retain their prized free agent.
After more than two years of planning, the Cleveland Cavaliers believe they have LeBron James legitimately listening to their pitch to leave the Miami Heat and return to his home state in free agency, according to sources close to the process.
There has yet to be a firm indication that James actually is ready to leave Miami after four years and two championships with the Heat, but sources told ESPN.com that the four-time MVP is increasingly considering the Cavaliers as an option as he moves into the final stages of deciding which team to sign his next contract with.
Meanwhile, the Heat are either playing this whole process insanely cool or they know something that we don’t — or they have no idea what LeBron is thinking. After all, who does these days?
Within Heat, still confidence they’ll keep LeBron James. They know difference between his agent’s agenda, and James’ strong mind of his own.

One thing is for sure, the Miami Heat are willing to go down with their ship.
