So, really, is LeBron James to the Cleveland Cavaliers a done deal?
The original Sheridan report stated that LeBron James was “90 percent” headed to Cleveland to rejoin his hometown club. However, after meeting with Miami officials on Wednesday afternoon LeBron isn’t slated to meet with any other teams at the moment. That could change, but I find it hard to believe that LeBron would decide to sign with a team without even having a face-to-face meeting with them.
Of course, that’s under the assumption that LeBron hasn’t had any face-to-face meetings with other teams yet. So far there have not been any reports of such happenings. There’s still a chance that they’ve happened, though.
Even though we don’t really have any hard evidence that would suggest LeBron James is done with Cleveland, unless you want to count the moving vans that were transporting his cars on Wednesday afternoon (something that LeBron does every summer), all we have is rumor after rumor after rumor.
And this Sheridan report.
Last night, Sheridan took it a bit further.
Not only is he sticking by his initial report, now he’s practically calling it a done deal. He also says that the news will break on LeBron’s website.
LeBron-to-Cavs news will eventually post on http://t.co/UWcnreYIe0. Nat’l media being fed misinformation. I stand by my source & story 100%.

Everything that’s being reported “suggests” that LeBron is headed to Cleveland. It’s easy to get behind such story.
I’m not sure if LeBron to Cleveland is already a done deal, but if it isn’t it’s awfully close to one.
