Indiana Pacers: Roy Hibbert Working To Be The Best

Indiana Pacers’ center Roy Hibbert had a horrible finish to last season. In the 2014 playoffs, he only averaged 9.3 points and 5.5 rebounds per game, in four of the 19 games he finished scoreless. It wasn’t ideal.

However, that poor close to last season isn’t on the mind of Hibbert. Instead, he’s working to be the best center in the NBA. And, apparently, that involves working with NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

KAB posted the following on Twitter and his Instagram account:

Pacer fans get ready for next season. I'm helping to get Roy ready to become a serious threat to his competitors.

This comes a couple weeks after a report surfaced that the Pacers were “quietly” shopping Hibbert.

Roy Hibbert also posted about a dinner with KAB and Larry Bird on Tuesday night. I doubt they talked about them shopping Hibbert, though.
