According to USA Today, the Los Angeles Lakers held a workout Tuesday in which they brought in free agent forward Michael Beasley (for a second workout in as many days) along with seven others as they attempt to round-out their 2014-15 roster.

Beasley, 25, is somewhat of an unwanted commodity nowadays, and his most recent team, the Miami Heat, reportedly have no interest in re-signing the forward.

Per reports, the Lakers had reportedly worked out Beasley sometime in late July and were left impressed by the former second overall pick’s workout.

He was joined, in his second workout with the Lakers, by  Toney Douglas, Dexter Pittman, Greg Stiemsma, Bobby Brown, Malcolm Lee, Daniel Orton and Ben Hansbrough in Los Angeles Tuesday.

The Lakers currently have 13 players on the roster and are looking to add depth to the small forward position and potentially another guard with the uncertainty that comes with Steve Nash and Kobe Bryant in the backcourt.
