In a key matchup between the current second and third place teams in Group D, Australia and Lithuania look to lock up in a key matchup later today as they both attempt to keep within striking distance of first place Slovenia.

Australia comes into Tuesday’s group game with a 1-1 FIBA World Cup tournament record, while the Lithuanians are still stainless at 2-0.

Lithuania comes into the contest against Australia after a loss against Slovenia and a huge win over Korea. Lithuania enters today’s contest with wins over Mexico and Angola.

Australia has been led by Aron Baynes‘ 17 points and 8.5 rebounds per game through two games; Lithuania’s NBA-er Jonas Valanciunas has led his club with 14 points and nine rebounds per contest.
