The Pistons could build a package around Greg Monroe, who could become a restricted free agent in 2017. Rondo would give the Pistons a significant upgrade at the point guard position.

The Pistons used the offseason to get shooters to upgrade their three-point shooting and Rondo would certainly be able to find them. He would give the Pistons a solid defender, leader and a champion attitude.
