We’re a few days into NBA free agency, and a number of teams have already had a misstep during the summer. Here are the seven most questionable moves thus far

The NBA Free Agency frenzy is in full effect, well at least for some teams it is. A few teams improved, others made moves to be great, some got worse and many more are just holding their breath praying the basketball Gods bring some luck their way.

The best part, which also happens to be the most daunting, is the guessing game that begun way before the season started, when fans such as myself looked up the upcoming free agent class and begin placing players where we hoped they would go. While the guessing game is tiring, the time officially hit on July 1 and the race for the next NBA Championship was on.

Money rules in sports, no matter what any athlete may say. Yes, a nice sunny destination is great for the family, like LA, but they have not been able to land a big fish in years, so that attraction has no value anymore (ask LaMarcus Aldridge).

If you like the bright lights, what better place to be than in New York with the Knicks or the Brooklyn Nets, but as we have seen the allure of Times Square and Junior’s Cheesecake doesn’t cut it anymore. Players want to win now and they want to be paid to do so, so if you are in rebuilding mode please don’t try to clear cap space for any first-tier free agents. All you will be left with is a full bank account and and a roster full of “why did we draft these players again?”

Here is a list of players and teams that have made some questionable free agent signings, or some that have not even made any move at all.
