With the 2015-16 NBA season on the verge of tipping off, we look at seven players that need to have bigger roles in 2015-16

The NBA off-season was fun to say the least, but living life without meaningful NBA basketball for four months was more sad than watching Meek Mill get embarrassed by Drake and the Internet on a daily basis.

Luckily, October is here. Which means we are around twenty days away from the start of the regular-season, along with storylines and new player developments. A new season is what organizations look forward to; in seeing if their team can take that next step in the development process which would culminate in making the playoffs and/or making a deep run.

Certain players will have more on their plate than others, mainly because of their name, team, or it’s just time to see that player take they next step. Here are seven players that need to step up in a big way this season for their respective teams to overcome expectations this year.
