In this week’s NBA Power Rankings edition, we preview the Cleveland Cavaliers’ and Golden State Warriors’ road to an NBA Finals rematch

The NBA Playoffs start in roughly five days. It starts with 16 teams, but we can all but pencil in the last two teams that will be standing in the end.

The Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers. They’re easily the prohibit favorites to come out of the Western Conference and Eastern Conference, respectively. It would also be a rematch of last year’s NBA Finals matchup in which the Warriors bested the undermanned Cavs in six games.

This time around, however, we could see a very different matchup. The Cavs are healthy this season, something that couldn’t be said a year ago. And the Warriors are playing at probably a higher level than any other team in the history of the NBA’s regular season.

The Cavs and Warriors are on a collision course to meet in the NBA Finals, and there’s not really any team in the league that can stop it.

Here are this week’s NBA Power Rankings.
