The Oklahoma City Thunder thrashed the Warriors in Game 3, 133-105. The Thunder now have a 2-1 series edge.; here’s how they did it

This game could have been decided by a six-minute spurt in the second half of the second quarter as the Oklahoma City Thunder ran the Warriors out of the gym.

The Thunder are now given a 57 percent chance to win the series by ESPN’s Basketball Power Index.

Domination does not even begin to describe how this Western Conference Finals Game 3 played out. The historical 73-9 Warriors suffered their largest deficit, at one point falling down 39.

Tied at 38 during the second quarter, the Thunder finished the half on a 32-7 run.

The Warriors shot 2-of-23 to end the first half. Down 26 at half, this was the Warriors worst halftime deficit since they played the Clippers on April 21, 2016.

The Thunder legitimately looked like the better team in this game. They scored 117 points through three quarters. Just a little background, the Warriors allowed 117 points in just 12 out of their 82 games this season.

OKC dominated in almost every aspect of this game, and they will look to continue their dominance from Game 3.
