As the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers prepare for their rematch, we preview the NBA Finals with a site-wide roundtable

The rematch we all wanted.

After seeing the Cleveland Cavaliers push the Golden State Warriors to six games without a healthy Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving in last year’s Championship round, it was only right that we would get the rematch – with a healthy Cavs team – in this year’s NBA Finals.

And after an improbable come-from-behind victory on behalf of the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference Finals, it’s exactly what we have beginning Thursday night with Game 1.

Despite the injury concerns early in the playoffs from Stephen Curry – who suffered an ankle and knee injury in the first round of the playoffs – there was real doubt as to whether or not the Warriors would even make it back to the NBA Finals. However, after enduring and outlasting, here they are.

On the other hand, the Cleveland Cavaliers bulldozed through the Eastern Conference, losing only twice through the first three rounds of the playoffs.

The two best teams in the NBA will now tee off against one another in one of the league’s most anticipated rematches.

We get you ready for Game 1 with this roundtable, previewing Cavs-Warriors II.
