With the 2016 NBA Draft slowly approaching, here is our first mock draft where Ben Simmons and Brandon Ingram headline the next wave of stars

Although the NBA Finals are upon us – as LeBron James and Stephen Curry battle on the league’s biggest stage – some/most teams are already looking forward to the 2016 NBA Draft, which is the first step in the NBA’s offseason.

The NBA Draft is also where multiple players officially start new legacies in an attempt to end up where Stephen Curry, LeBron James, and the rest of the participants in the Finals are today.

Before they become tomorrow’s champions and MVPs, they must be rookies. And that’s why hitting on the draft is so crucial. Just look at what the Golden State Warriors have done in the last two seasons thanks to draft picks such as Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green panning out.
