NBA Trade Rumors: The LA Clippers have been good this season, but if they’re going to challenge the Warriors they need to move Blake Griffin

Do you know that commercial that State Farm runs where the girl calls for her insurance company to get her money, and an old guy appears with a fishing rod with a dollar attached to the end of it; and he gleefully keeps pulling it away from the girl who needs the dollar?

Well, think of the dollar as the Larry O’Brien trophy, the fishing rod as some Western Conference team that’s knocked them out of the playoffs, and the old guy as NBA fans.

The LA Clippers are the villains of the NBA. Note the present tense, the Golden State Warriors are not the villains. Are you really going to complain watching plays like the ones shown in the first part in this video night after night?

The answer to that question is no, you won’t and secretly have been dropping your jaw in amazement at how good they are no matter how hard you try to convince yourself or others you hate the Warriors/Steph Curry/KD/Klay/Draymond/etc.

This article isn’t about them, though. This about the LA Clippers adding something they don’t currently have on their roster – a fourth starting scoring option. Who better else to help them than the team that hasn’t learned the lesson that you can actually have too much of a good thing; the Denver Nuggets.
