Just before the NBA Trade Deadline, the Philadelphia 76ers traded Ersan Ilyasova to the Atlanta Hawks in exchange for Tiago Splitter

The Hawks have completed a trade with the 76ers that has sent recent journeyman, Ersan Ilyasova to Atlanta (Via The Vertical).

Atlanta in search of a shooter, lands the 29-year old, Ilyasova was who averaging 14.8 PPG and shooting 44% from the field for Philadelphia this season.

Ilyasova is no stranger to being on the move, with Atlanta being his fifth team since 2015 and four of those teams acquired him via trade.

Currently, the Hawks sit in the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference. Atlanta looks to stay in the mix of things by being buyers instead of sellers with rumors of trading star Paul Millsap continuously floating around.

Philly meanwhile is active as expected as they acquire center Tiago Splitter and a 2017 2nd-round draft pick from Atlanta.

Ilyasova was overshadowed in trade talks with the 76ers main focuses being the moving of big men Nerlens Noel and Jahill Okafor.

The trade looks to be a positive for both teams while Atlanta adds a needed shooter and the Sixers continue “The Process”.
