Behind the greatest playoff comeback in NBA history, the Cleveland Cavaliers take a 3-0 series lead over the Indiana Pacers

Sometimes you just have to tip your hat to LeBron James.

And that’s exactly what the Indiana Pacers have to do after what transpired in Game 3. After racing off to a 26-point lead, it looked like the Pacers were actually going to make a series out of this matchup after all.

Then, the second half happened. During the last two quarters, LeBron has especially insane. In the second half alone, LeBron tallied 26 points, seven assists and five rebounds. He finished with 41 points, 13 rebounds and 12 assists as the Cleveland Cavaliers erased a 25-point deficit en route to a 119-114 Game 3 win.

More from Sir Charles In Charge

Kevin Love, Channing Frye, J.R. Smith and Kyrie Irving added 13 points apiece. But, it was all about LeBron.

In the loss, Paul George scored 36 points, grabbed 15 rebounds and dished out nine assists. In the end, it wasn’t enough to offset the absurdness that was LeBron James.

With the win in Game 3, the Cleveland Cavaliers now own a series commanding 3-0 lead. They can close out the series Sunday in Game 4.

If you’re the Indiana Pacers, there’s not much more you can do. For the series, it’s not like Paul George has had off nights. In fact, he’s averaging 32 points, nine rebounds and eight assists in this series. It hasn’t been enough, in any of the games.

The Pacers roster simply isn’t good enough to combat the firepower that the Cavs contain. Sometimes, that’s just the way it works. Many teams have found that out the hard way against LeBron James over the years.

Perhaps most interestingly, the Indiana Pacers have lost the first three games of this series by a combined 12 points. Yet, they find themselves in a huge hole heading into Game 4.
