Unlike unrestricted free agents, restricted free agents are still binded to their current team. Basically, it is up to the team if they want to keep him. If a restricted free agent receives a deal that their current team doesn’t feel like matching, then they will most likely be moving next season.

Although the names on the restricted free agents board aren’t as big as the names on the unrestricted free agents board, there’s still plenty of talent on that side. And frankly, some of those players most likely won’t be doing the normal, which is returning to their team.
