Stephen Curry is a one man offense. He’s arguably the greatest three-point shooter of all time, throws fun passes like these, and is second only to LeBron in terms of overall offensive impact (O-RPM). For some context on how great he was in 2014, only three guards have ever shot the ball more efficiently then Curry, while matching his 24 points per game. He isn’t just an integral part of the Warrior offense, he is the Warrior offense.

The only real hole in Curry’s game is his defense. Though he ranks about average in terms of D-RPM, his deficiencies are largely masked thanks to the Warrior’s tendency to hide him on defense. If his burden on offense is lessened however, we could see Curry blossom into an effective defender. All things considered (including healthy ankles), Stephen Curry is the player most capable of snatching the point guard crown from its longtime holder.
