In 2014 Kyle Lowry made the leap. He posted career highs in field-goal attempts, points, assists, and shooting percentage, all while averaging a career low turnover rate. Offensively he’s beyond reproach, while defensively he projects as a slight positive. Any contract less then a max would be fair value for Lowry, and Toronto did well by resigning him for 12 million per year as their franchise player.

The only issue with Lowry is the fact that he’ll be 28 this upcoming season, meaning his production may stagnate while younger players improve. There are also questions of whether he can sustain this high level of play now that he’s secured a juicy contract. These small caveats aside however, Lowry is a great point guard, and with some luck, his Raptors could make some noise this season.
