Though he’s more of a point guard, Goran Dragic was listed as a shooting guard by multiple databases for the 2014 season, so he’s here. Regardless of what you want to call him though, there’s no doubting that Goran “The Dragon” can ball. Last season he managed to up his usage-rate, while increasing his shooting percentage, and decreasing his turnover-rate. That’s pretty difficult to do, even if Dragic has showed flashes of such brilliance throughout his career.
The downside to Dragic’s game is his defense, which by the most accurate of measures, is poor. Furthermore, he’ll now be sharing the ball with a healthy Bledsoe (maybe) and newly acquired Isaiah Thomas, two outstanding floor-generals. Its doubtful all three can coexist while maintaining their peak effectiveness, so a 2015 slump could be possible.
