Turkey vs Australia, 2:00 p.m. (ET)

The Skinny: After a controversial loss against Angola in their group play finale, the Australian national team looks to advance to the FIBA quarterfinals, avoiding USA in the opening knockout round, against Turkey. The Aussies will look to continue to ride Aron Baynes‘ hot hand into the quarters. Turkey will rely on Emir Preldzic and NBA-er Omer Asik to pull a surprise. If there’s such thing as FIBA Basketball Gods, you bet they’re on Turkey’s side.

Players to Watch

Turkey: Emir Preldzic, Omer Asik

Australia: Aron Baynes, Dante Exum, Matthew Dellavedova, Joe Ingles
