Damian Lillard, G, Portland Trail Blazers
Lillard had an exceptional season last year for the Portland Trail Blazers, topped off by an epic performance in the NBA playoffs. His 20.7 points and 5.6 assists per game were amongst the top point guards in the NBA.
Although, expectations for Lillard are at an all-time high in an all-time great Western Conference. Lillard isn’t exactly going to regress this season, but he just isn’t going to take that much more of a leap. Lillard averaged nearly 40 percent from three-point land and 45 percent from two-point range.
Ironically, they were actually down from his rookies season. Though, that could be attributed to his expanded role in his sophomore season.
And that will again be the case as Lillard prepares for his third season in the NBA.
