Leave it to Phoenix to add another crop of talented guards to their backcourt, acquiring Syracuse star Tyler Ennis in the NBA draft and inking Isaiah Thomas to an absolute bargain at 4-years, $27 million.
Those additions alone elevated the Suns guard rotation to one of the best in the league, however their frontcourt did take a major step back, with the loss of veteran big man Channing Frye.
Now it’s up to the Morris twins and rookie T.J. Warren to make up for Frye’s past production from last season, so expect this to be a deciding factor in whether they wind up with a similar record like last season, or a playoff appearance.
