Biggest Disappointment: Injuries!
It was expected for this Rajon Rondo soap opera to be taking place. That’s not surprising. Although, the fact that the Celtics have to deal with injuries to Marcus Smart and Marcus Thornton this early, is. The Celtics are kind of operating with their hands tied down until they can figure out what they want to do with Rondo, but having Smart out of the lineup doesn’t help any, either.
The Celtics could move Rondo, or they may not. They can’t afford to be going through that mess, along with having Smart out of action.
