Charlotte Hornets

Biggest Disappointment: Lance Stephenson

The Hornets biggest signee this summer hasn’t looked anything like the player they were expecting to get, especially shooting the basketball.

Sure, Stephenson is adding a dimension on the glass that is rare in the NBA. Heck, a guard is averaging 10.9 rebounds per game. Although, he’s in quite the shooting slump. On the year, Stephenson is shooting 32 percent from the field, 19 percent from three-point land.

He’s still averaging 8.8 points per game, but his shooting has been very sub-par this season. I don’t think the Hornets, or Stephenson, were expecting that type of early season performance.
