The Pacers Are Thankful For: Frank Vogel’s Adjustments

With a 6-8 record and their best player on the shelf due to injuries, the Pacers are going through a tough season.

However, the Pacers are still fortunate to have one of the most resourceful coaches in the league, Frank Vogel. During this difficult opening stretch that has been marred by injuries, Vogel has managed to mix and match lineups to get the most out of players who were once afterthoughts like Donald Sloan and Chris Copeland.

But even with healthy players, Vogel has been masterful in creating a tough, grind-it-out culture, in Indiana. Every year that Vogel has been in Indiana, the Pacers have advanced farther into the playoffs before reaching the eastern conference finals in the past two years.

That type of sustained improvement is something that the Pacers and their fans can find comfort in and be thankful for during this time of uncertainty.
