  • With the NBA trade deadline a few weeks away, keep an eye on the Brooklyn Nets. They’ve already been reported in numerous trade rumors, involving Deron Williams, Joe Johnson and Brook Lopez. All at different points this season.

Although, I believe there are two players that will get traded for the Nets: Joe Johnson and Brook Lopez. Deron Williams will remain with the team for at least the remainder of the season.

Keep an eye on the Thunder as a potential landing spot for Lopez, as they themselves attempt to part ways with upcoming free agent Reggie Jackson. It would probably have to include a third team, but I think OKC eventually gets Lopez.

In addition, I fully expect Joe Johnson to land with the Charlotte Hornets. It makes even more sense now, with the loss of Kemba Walker. The Hornets need offense and Johnson can provide that. The rumored deal from earlier in the week involved a swap of Lance Stephenson. That’s not too bad, considering that he’s been nothing but an epic failure this season in Charlotte.

To recap: Lopez to OKC; Johnson to Charlotte. Williams stays put.
